SUMMARY

Project Planners play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and successfully. 

 

You will learn about the phases of a Project Lifecycle, from initiation to closure and the key activities and deliverables in each phase. You will gain an understanding of how to define, manage and control project scope to ensure that projects stay on track. Learn how to plan and schedule a project by breaking down tasks into manageable components and gain proficiency in creating Gantt charts and other visual tools to depict project timelines, task dependencies and resource allocation. You will be introduced to project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project and learn how to create status reports, dashboards and other tools to communicate project progress to stakeholders.
